Environment prerequisites and deployment readiness
Confirm organization settings, plan entitlements, and role assignments before broad rollout.
Summary
- Confirm organization settings, plan entitlements, and role assignments before broad rollout.
- Use this guide to complete the workflow with audit-ready evidence and ownership.
- If you hit a blocker, run troubleshooting first, then escalate with context.
Steps
1. Confirm your plan entitlements
Open /dashboard/settings and check that your subscription tier includes the modules you plan to roll out (for example, gap analysis or partner tooling on higher tiers).
2. Confirm onboarding is complete
A finished operating profile at /dashboard/onboarding is a prerequisite for publishable policy output; incomplete profiles produce weaker drafts.
3. Assign the first admin and backup admin
Make sure at least two people hold ADMIN or SUPER_ADMIN so rollout, publishing, and team management do not depend on a single account.
Verification
- Billing settings show the correct plan and no past-due invoices before you invite a wider team.
- At least one backup admin exists beyond the account that registered the organization.
- Onboarding shows the core profile complete, not partial.
Troubleshooting
A feature or menu item does not appear.
Check plan entitlements in billing settings first, then check your role. Some features are gated by tier, others by role, and the two can look identical from the sidebar.
