Create your organization and choose the right starting plan
Set up your first organization with the plan that matches rollout depth and governance needs.
Summary
- Set up your first organization with the plan that matches rollout depth and governance needs.
- Use this guide to complete the workflow with audit-ready evidence and ownership.
- If you hit a blocker, run troubleshooting first, then escalate with context.
Steps
1. Start the Account step
Open /register and complete the Account step (your name, work email, and password), then select Continue.
2. Complete the Business step
Enter your organization name and core business details on the second step, then select Continue.
3. Pick a Package on the final step
Choose the plan that matches your rollout depth, then select Create account and start preview.
4. Land in guided onboarding
You are redirected to /dashboard/onboarding as the organization ADMIN, on a PREVIEW subscription tied to a GUIDED_PREVIEW package. Your chosen paid package is stored as your intent, not billed yet.
Verification
- You land on /dashboard/onboarding immediately after registration, not a billing or checkout page.
- Your account role shows as ADMIN for the new organization.
- The plan you selected during registration appears as your intended package once you reach billing settings.
Troubleshooting
The final step will not submit.
Check that all three steps (Account, Business, Package) show as complete; Create account and start preview stays disabled until every required field on prior steps validates.
I expected to be billed immediately at signup.
Registration does not run checkout. You start on a PREVIEW subscription so you can evaluate the product; upgrading to your chosen paid package happens later from billing settings.
